Q: Is food provided
A: For allergy reasons, we ask that you pack your child recess and lunch for all holiday CodeSpace Camps, as we do not provide food.
Q: Will my child bring their creation home?
A: Yes! For all workshops except Lego Robotics, children will get to take home what they created and can continue to play/edit it at home.
Q: What is the student/teacher ratio?
A: In each CodeSpace Camp, the classes range from 10-25 students.
In this group of students, we will have between 1-3 teachers/assistants per class, depending on class numbers and topic taught.
We always ensure we have plenty of teachers/assistants to make it a fun and productive day.
Q: Does my child need to bring their own laptop/device?
A: No, we will provide all of the required laptops and tech for each class. Just bring a USB to take your creation home on!
Q: Are we registered?
A: Yes, all CodeSpace Educators have valid Working with Children’s checks and we maintain $20 million public liability insurance. Child safety (as well as fun!) is a top priority for us.
Q: Do the kids just stay inside all day?
A: No, we take recess and lunch breaks where kids can get away from the computers, get some fresh air and play some active games.
Q: What if my child is sick on the day?
A: We understand, sometimes life can get in the way of your plans.
That’s why if your child is sick on the day of your school holiday CodeSpace Camp, we can give you a full credit for another workshop, provided we receive valid proof.
Q: Is there any childcare rebate?
A: Not at this time.
Q: Can we run private workshops?
A: Yes, we can look at this depending on the individual circumstances.
We have run numerous corporate coding workshops previously to great success.
Please contact us to discuss this further.
Q: What does my child need to bring?
A: They just have to bring recess, lunch, hat, drink bottle and a USB for all non-robotics workshops.
We’ll provide the rest!
